The perfect snow...

Today, a Saturday, was the PERFECT day to play in the snow. The roads were abysmal so we were all stuck at home, the temperature was just a perfect 32 degrees and the snow was fluffy and sticky- PERFECT for some snow fun. I went outside just to take a couple of pictures and ended up staying out to play. It was a good time! Today I can say I was grateful for snow.

We started off making some snow turtles (in the picture with Kenna and Brayden), then we made a giant snow man in the backyard, then we moved on to fort making (which wasnt a great success) so then we headed to the fresh snow in the front yard to create our "snow family." The kids tired out half way through but Brayden and I persevered and now we have some very festive lawn decor.
This is snow "Emmitt." And yes those are strawberry frosted mini wheats for the eyes (we were fresh out of coal:).I thought it would be a fun picture to have all of us by our snow men but when we put Emmitt down he just kept taking off. He wanted to play in the snow too.

This is just too, too cute. This is the stuff that makes a moms heart melt. Hope all this love doesn't make the snow family melt!
