Let the Halloween Fun Begin

In my childhood, I am quite sure Halloween was just a one day sort of holiday. Now that I have kids it has turned into some sort of never ending costume and candy festival. Between preschool parties, mba parties and cosmo parties.. the fun goes on and on. And it isnt even Halloween yet!

We must give credit to Scott for Kevin's fabulous costume. Scott bought it for a party on Friday and Kevin used it Saturday. Scott called it "The Electric Elvis." The chest hair was definitely the best/ scariest part.

These frightening ghost treats were my entry in the MBASA's scariest dessert contest. As always, they didnt turn out quite as planned but they definitely are frightening.

These are pictures from a pumpking patch we went to on Thursday in Pleasant grove. We had a little trouble finding it so it got kinda dark- but it was fun nonetheless. While searching for pumpkins Brayden said, "this is the greatest day of my life." Kids are so easy to please, arent they? The highlight for Makenna was some horses in a nearby pasture and for Brayden and Kevin it was the hayride.

These kids are all part of the preschool co op that I do with some other moms. It gets a bit crazy.

Our Trip To Calgary

If you have been wondering where we have gone the answer is...Canada! The kids and I had a great trip to visit with the family and meet our newest member of the family. It was fun fun fun. Of course we missed Kevin who had to stay in Provo and study study study. But we are all back together again and all is well.

No trip to Canada would be complete without a little snowball making!
This is almost all of the cousins (unfortunately Jonah couldnt make it) at the zoo having a snack. The kids seem more interested in having snacks than looking at the animals. The little girls esspecially enjoyed pretending to talk on the phone (below).

And the highlight of the trip of course was spending time with this precious little guy. This is our new nephew and Brayden and Kennas newest cousin, Jonah. Isnt he darling!

Football Fun

Today for the first time we all went to the football game. Usually its just Kevin and sometimes Brayden but this time we found ourselves with some extra tickets so we all went. It was fun. I left at half time with the kids but Makenna was quite upset to leave. She loved to clap and cheer and chant and most of all, fill her mouth with sugar in all its varieties.
