Happy Birthday Emmitt!

Emmitt is 10!  Double Digits!
For his birthday party he chose to go to IFly with Taeya.  Its an indoor skydiving place.  They absolutely loved it and did great.  Afterwards we all went to Jasons Deli.  Then on his birthday he enjoyed his presents and chose Culvers for dinner. We had a family dinner on Sunday and he chose to copy Braydens traditional birthday cake so we had a Reeces peanut butter cup cake.  It was yummy!

Homecoming

Makenna got asked to Homecoming by her friend Mason Neddo.  Its kind of a big deal in Texas.  We had the mums and garters and everything and they went with a fabulous group of friends.  Since there was no actual homecoming at school (thanks Covid) they had their own.  They went out to eat at a fancy restaurant and then had a dance at someones sport court in their backyard.  Then hot tubbing and general hanging out.  From what I hear and what I saw- It was a lot of fun!

Hey guys it's kenna I would just like to add in a few key points that my sweet mother appears to have excluded from this post. Homecoming was a blast. However, this post does not mention that my nose bled. Twice. The first was literally right before we were about to take pictures. I was all ready and in Mason's car waiting for everyone else to get there when I felt it coming and was like "hey mason got any tissues" and he was like "uh I don't know why" and I was like "my nose is about to bleed." Then my nose proceeded to bleed profusely. Luckily between the time of my warning and like five seconds later when my nose actually bled Mason was able to find some napkins so I only got a little blood on my dress. I called my mom who luckily had a roll of paper towels in her car and was on her way already with the Thomases to take pictures. We were able to get the blood out of my dress enough to not be noticed in the pictures and even though it wiped off some of the make up Annie had so kindly done for me, you couldn't really tell in the pictures that my face had just been covered in blood. Natalie came up to me while we were taking pictures and was like "I came here to embarrass you but I didn't even need to it looks like you've got that part taken care of yourself." It was a good time. After that slight little road bump the rest of the night when without complication until I was in the hot tub at someone's house for the after party and my nose bled yet again. I could tell it was about to before it happened so I got out and ran for the door to get some tissues just in time, so no major damage was done there. Also, when I texted my mom just a minute ago that her post left this oh so crucial part of my hoco experience out she said feel free to add it and while you're there put that mason hates you now so you don't forget it. So I would also like to include that mason hates me. Anyways that's my little spiel I hope you have a lovely day :)

This is the "mum exchange" which happened a few days before Homecoming

Brielle's Birthday

Brielle is officially a teenager.  Her birthday events were as follows: friend party at six flags with Kennas brownies, presents with the fam- (the guitar was the big reveal), and family birthday dinner at Torchys with the Thomases who arrived on her birthday to accompany us to a BYU game in Houston.  Cheesecake after Torchys.

These fun people accompanied the party to six flags but kept away from Brielles friends (as instructed)
