Brielle is 3!

We celebrated Brielles Birthday this past weekend. I can't believe she is 3! To make her birthday special we started the day with donuts for breakfast. Then we opened her family presents which she played with until all her friends came over for her big party. She loved having her own special day.

She got this pink princess dress from Grandma which she wore all day long. She was even wearing it when I got her out of bed the next morning- and that is not what we put her to bed in :).

She loved the coloring book and video from Oma and Opa.
I opted to do cupcakes instead of a cake which are always a big hit with the kids. The cupcakes had princess rings or spiderman rings on - so I think everyone was happy!
Her party festivities included: treat bag decorating, a pinata, pin the tail on the donkey and then cupcakes and presents. We invited three other 2/3 year olds and many of their siblings joined us too. Brielle was thrilled to have so many friends there.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCESS BRIELLE! WE LOVE YOU!

Superstars

Brayden had a superstar run at his football game on Saturday. I thought you might enjoy a clip.
Unfortunately it wasn't a touch down because he had his flag pulled right at the pylon... but I must say it could be debated...

And Makenna had a superstar moment this morning as she was chosen as Student of the Month. Her teacher praised her for helping others. We are so proud of her.
And not to be left out Brielle had a very non superstar moment last week. It was completely ironic because as I sat in the other room talking on the phone to my mom about how "I had hid all the finger nail polish from Brielle because even though so far she was really good at only putting it on her nails, if I didn't than it would inevitably end up on the wall or the floor or the couch." Apparently there was one more polish left out that I missed and while I chatted away, she found it and painted the wall. Totally ironic, I thought.

So the only clean up solution is to paint the wall and the leftover paint we found from the builder, was totally moldy- who knew paint went moldy? So how exactly do you go buy more paint to match a wall without a swatch.... any suggestions?

Countdown to Baby

So I feel like I can really officially start counting the days until I have this baby. I am likely to be induced on October 29th which means I have only 27 days to go!
