What Have I Done?

Brayden said to me yesterday, "mom will you take a picture of me?" and when I asked why he said "Because I want to see my picture on the computer."

Perhaps I have created a bit of vanity in him with all my picture taking, but I won't take all the blame for that one...

Future Golf Pro?

These are Brayden's new golf clubs- and he just can't resist the chance to strike a pose. Kevin bought the clubs from someone at work and got a great deal. Hopefully Brayden will take to golfing, but if not- the clubs seem to work well for mom too, so they won't go to waste!

The Sprinkler in April???

It turns out we are crazy enough to think you can run through the sprinkler in April. It's just the way you have to live in Calgary. When we get a warm day...We Seize the Opportunity!

Arent they so cute in their new swimwear.

As it turns out, Makenna is not such a big fan of the sprinkler!

Snapshots of Our Easter Weekend

Makenna got a new dolly and stroller which she is still pushing around non-stop.
Here is Brayden finding Easter Eggs. No Easter would be complete without an Easter Egg Hunt!

Look how green!!!--Unfortunately that is because it rained and rained the whole time we were there-until the day we left of course!
Brayden had his hands full with a new scooter, a train and two dogs. He was a very busy boy all weekend! Brayden loved to "hike up the mountain," and Zena enjoyed it too.
Both of the kids loved Murphy- esspecially Makenna. He was just her size.

Take Time Out to Stop and Smell the Roses

Makenna has some sort of stomach bug and spent last night, expelling from her stomach, all contents. Brayden, in addition to his typical excema, has an unsightly rash around his mouth. So I have chosen today to spare you from pictures of the children and rather show off the beautiful roses I have in my kitchen. I hope they bring joy to your day.

Makenna's New Shoes

Every girl must have a pair of shoes that are ridiculously uncomfortable and completely impractical but too cute to resist.
So Makenna now has hers, and being the true girl that she is, she loves to wear them despite the painful experience of getting into them and the imprints scarring her foot when she takes them off. She is quite a trooper!
As you can see, to Makenna, getting dressed means shoes and shirt (only because mom insists). Pants to her, are completely unnecessary.
