A Few Things

Brayden worked long and hard addressing his Valentine Cards. When I went to pack them up I noticed that he had selectively chosen certain friends to whom the term "best friend" should be added to their card. It's pretty funny to me... but hopefully no one gets their feelings hurt :)Unfortunately, the day of the Valentine Exchange turned out to be a snow day, so the new party is rescheduled for today. This year Valentines goes on and on!

This is my new Lucky Bamboo. On Valentines Day Kevin and I had a fabulously fun date complete with dinner, a gift exchange, a movie, hot chocolate drinking at Borders , and even a trip to Walmart (not just any Walmart though- just the fanciest Walmart in town). It was a great date!
And the story behind the lucky bamboo- we went to Westroads mall (you know the mall where last year there was that big shooting- yep we braved it) and gave each other a 10 dollar, 30 minute limit to find each other a Valentine gift. It was so much fun. I got Kevin some fishing tackle that had the "as seen on tv" label- so I knew it must be good :) and he got me a lovely lucky bamboo. And now on to this cutie patootie (I love her expression in that picture)... Monday night Brielle reached the "first asthma attack" milestone. Yes, it looks like she may be following in Brayden's footsteps. We can still hold out hope that this is just a symptom of a virus, the doctor said- but she also adviced we stop renting and just buy the darn nebulizer (dang). Don't worry about her though- when we give her the regular breathing treatments, she does really well and slept all night last night- yeah! Oh and the poor thing also has an ear infection- but yet look at that smile- what a trooper!
Well thats all for now. Hope you all are healthier than us and having a great week!

Sounds like a fun date! Thanks for feeding my family the other day, the girls told me all about their pirate show. And I hope Brielle doesn't have asthma, that's just not fun!

i'm so sorry about the asthma! i didn't know brayden has it too. its such a pain doing those breathing treatments. especially at this age.

your valentine's date sounds like so much fun! scott and i had a similar date night once when we were first married, but we went to walmart, and our limit was 5 bucks. still lots of fun, though.

the valentines are adorable. ethan really got into it this year as well and made all of his and added "i love you" to every single one of them -- boys and girls.

Poor Brielle - hope she is feeling better. Jordan actually just got his first ever ear ache this Thursday - I know we are lucky he has gone 5 1/2 years without one. Both ears were infected though so Kris got to be up with him all night Wednesday while I was up with Joseph. I didn't realize how miserable ear aches could make a child!

Hope all is well with you guys - I feel like I haven't seen anyone in forever. I finally caught the cold Kris and Jordan had so I am just praying that Joseph doesn't get it :)

Take care
Cami

Oh dear, that's too bad. Poor Brielle. I need to give her a big hug and kiss!

I love your valentines date activity, what a great idea! We didn't really do anything this year, how lame. Oh well, now we have a great idea for next year.
