Holiday Festivities Photo Dump

First up- Our annual "Gingerbread houses"

I cant figure out how to turn this photo so you will just have to turn your head.

We also did Gingerbread house making when we had the Dold kids over.  They have the cutest little kids so we had them over one Saturday for some holiday fun and it was such a treat.

Little Caroline stuffed her house with candy and every time she put more in she would laugh and laugh.  It was so adorable!

And then on to the Ward Christmas breakfast- where we wore our pajamas, ate pancakes and got to see Santa.  Good times had by all.

And now onto the Nutcracker.
Our whole family (dad and Emmitt too- which was a first) went to see the Nutcracker featuring many of our friends, including the famous Taeya Corbridge.

Makenna and some of her friends at the Nutcracker

And then on to our Christmas Service... This year we decided to "adopt" a family from Brayden's mission that he has been talking about.  There was a couple single moms and some teenagers.  I loved how the kids helped shop for them and we all brainstormed ideas.  Then we wrapped and wrapped and shipped off the boxes- labeled from Secret Santa.  Brayden later told them he heard about the gifts and they loved them and also they were sure they were from the missionaries or the bishop or someone from church.  They didnt quite get the concept of the Secret Santa- Brayden tried to explain it but it didnt click.  As soon as they got the package they opened all of them up... so so much for waiting for Christmas.  Id say it was a success.

And here is one solo pic of Brielle and some friends volunteering at the live Drive Thru Nativity that our stake puts on.  Aren't they adorable!

And the girls and I went to the Christmas MCO concert (Millenial Choir and Orchestra).  Many friends are in it and every year I think about going but this year I finally did it.

And lastly,  Makenna and Scott have been playing Christmas music together and we just love it when they do.  Its so fun to listen to.
