Another Great Soccer Season

Brielle loves her team Lady Force and coach Jenn.  Sadly this is our last season with this coach but its been a good run with a lot of learning and great memories.

The Talon Awards

The infamous Talon awards have become a tradition to look forward to.  It is the broadcast awards at the high school.  This year Brayden played a big role on both Eagle Nation News and the sports show Gametime.  He was the co host of the award show and did a fabulous job.  And he won a couple of awards too- Broadcaster of the Year and Best Comedy Segment (for the wrestling piece he did with Tyler).

Happy Birthday Brayden!

Brayden is 17!  Can I just say WOW!!!  That is crazy!  We celebrated him with the usual traditions. He chose Torchys Tacos for his birthday dinner.  This year he requested a friend party so we had 30 teenagers over for a Pool/ spike ball/ rockband/ ping pong party.  I think it was a big success (though the chocolate fountain was not near the hit I expected ;).


 

  

Girls Trip to Waco

The girls have been requesting a trip to Waco for awhile.  They are big fans of "Fixer Upper" so we planned a girls trip to take in all the sights.  We went to the new restaurant, the usual silos, the original store, Clints shop and even drove around and found several of the homes from the show.  It was a fun trip.

A New Ice Cream Place in Town

Our town of Prosper is just popping these days with all sorts of new shops and restaurants opening up all the time.  Today we dropped in on a new ice cream place that features rolled ice cream.  Kind of a novelty so it was fun.  But at $8 a pop, we'll keep this place for special occasions.
