HALLOWEEN 2011

Where to begin...

This year we went to a safe night put on by the High School where the kids got to dress up and trick or treat at the High School and then participate in a bunch of activities in the gym. It was a
lot of fun! Here are some pictures:

This other chicken was one of the high schoolers handing out candy who was gracious enough to pose for a picture.

This is Brielle at the pumpkin decorating table after visiting the hair dying table- yes seriously. (Brielle's favorite and moms least favorite part :)

And the next Halloween event of note was the adult party thrown by Kevin's boss. Here we are in costume...and in "character"...I'd like to say it was fun but Im not a big fan of dressing up and the party itself was a lot of drinking and not a lot of actual party (in my opinion). Though Kevin always finds a way to enjoy himself in a crowd. My opinion remains the same- Halloween is for kids.

And finally the big official real Halloween night...

Back into costume they go. Dad took them out while I stayed behind with Emmitt to pass out candy. It was a lot of fun and the kids got a TON of candy. Emmitt seemed a bit sad about being left out though...

All in all, it was a great Halloween!
