Officially, Brielle's Birthday is tomorrow but we had our little "party" for her on Sunday. I think she had fun, but I must admit- some of her reactions were a bit disappointing. For example, she would rather have just climbed on the presents than open them, she never got more than the tip of her finger into the cake, she hated her cute party hat, and I didn't catch a single picture of her actually looking happy. Oh well... I am sure she loved it. I can't believe she is one but at the same time I am so excited that she is. She's a handful- but so so so dang cute!
Nope- we don't have any of those covered in cake messy-happy- baby-pictures, just a dainty little finger tasting. Even when we broke it up in peices and tried to feed it to her- she just wasn't into that. Maybe she knew her outfit was cute and she didnt dare ruin it. Good for her, I guess. I wish that's all I had done to my cake.
Her serious face is just so funny.
I thought she would be so excited to try and push the stroller, but she just wanted to sit in it. This was just such a cute moment. We are secretly planning these two cuties will get married so maybe this is a foreshadowing of things too come- you know 80 years down the road :)

First birthdays are always interesting. Madison did the same thing with her cake. Just didn't know what to do with it. We had a birthday on Sunday too. Erin turned 4. Saturday we did fun family stuff and Sunday we had some friends over to help up eat her cake.

Wow, she's getting really big! Cute dress too. Katelyn was just the opposite with her cake. It was all over the place! Our kids are growing up!
That is a funny comment about the two getting married. They make a perfect couple! Well, at least you know that she is not high maintenance with birthdays.
