This Picture Melts My Heart

The true miracle of this picture is that it was not instigated by me, and that the moment lasted long enough for me to grab my camera and take the picture! Randomly, Makenna decided she wanted to hug Brayden. So So Cute! They are good kids and get along well for the most part, but dont be decieved..they certainly have their "moments" (I just dont usually take pictures of them).
I should also add that Brayden does own more than one shirt, he just seems to wear this one more often than others and esspecially on days when I take pictures. Note, though that I did laundry between Tuesdays post and todays- so it is a clean shirt!

Muscle Man Brayden

Brayden has definetly been known to boast of his strength. He always enjoys watching his muscles grow as he eats 'healthy food' and he loves to impress us with his strength. He was quite pleased with himself being able to pull Makenna around on a blanket. She too, was quite pleased!

Cute or Not?

I'm not sure if this picture is cute or just disgusting, but I thought it might bring a little humour to your day. In case you are wondering...that is ketchup on her nose. She likes to dive right into it- nose first!

Binki Withdrawals

No one ever talks about the downside of "binki use." I decided to try taking it away today and the results were... not so pretty. The struggle lasted less than an hour when I gave in and she was at peace once again.

New Floors!!!

Floors, floors, floors, I am so done thinking about floors! After much consideration we went with a Merbau laminate. I debated about light vs. dark and hardwood vs. laminate for some time and as you can see we went with a dark laminate. The tile was easy and it looks great. We're very happy with the whole project. Let us know what you think (unless you hate it)?

What's wrong with this picture?

Yes, we had the toilet in the computer room and the washing machine in the hallway. You know what that means...FINALLY my new floors are coming in!!! Hip Hip Hooray!n Stay tuned for more pictures.

Melissa's New "Look"

I always thought I had perfect vision, until I recently had trouble focusing when I read and watched TV...so now I have glasses and it's great being able to see things so clearly!

Ice Skating with Oma, Opa, and Cousins

Back around New Year's, Kevin's mom and dad (aka Oma and Opa) made a visit to Calgary and we all (including cousins Benjamin and Daniel) went ice skating at the Calgary Olympic Oval.
