Freddy Returns

This  year has been Freddy's naughtiest yet.  Among his biggest accomplishments are the wrapping of our main toilet in Christmas paper and the hanging of all the kids underwear on the fireplace.  Let me tell you- the kids were not amused by the latter. :) The kids got creative and tried leaving notes to see if he would answer.  Once it was asking his age and the notes in the picture below are 1- asking if he has a grandma and grandpa (from Emmitt) and from Brielle- asking if he could send an elf to her teacher to be in their classroom.  He also ate cookies and ice cream and decorated the Barbie dreamhouse.   As usual he added a lot of fun magic to our holiday season.

Yesterday at dinner, Emmitt said
"Brayden has been getting a lot of hair on his legs from running on the treadmill.  I dont want to run on the treadmill and get hairy legs like that"

School Christmas Parties

Part of the Christmas season is attending (and sometimes running) the kids Christmas parties at Elementary.  They are always on the last day.  So we have a party then head home to start our official Christmas break.

Family Get Together

The big event this month was visitors!  We had Grandma and Grandpa come since they have a two week break from their mission.  Then we also had join us Jeff and his family and Scott.  So I had my whole extended family on my side together.  Its been many years since that has happened and it was just wonderful!  It was the weekend before Thanksgiving so we had an early Thanksgiving.  We didnt take too many pictures but the ones here were taken after our Thanksgiving feast where Grandpa and Grandma gave the kids their Christmas presents.  They each got a Spanish version of the CTR ring.  And then we watched a slideshow from their mission thus far.  We also took family pics with everyone that will be in an upcoming post.

Haloween 2016

I guess it means your kids are growing up when you only have two pictures from Halloween.  The older girls dressed as "Masquerade" girls.  I made their adorable tulle skirts.  We had the traditional ward trunk or treat and then on actual Halloween we went out with the Corbridges.  Makenna and Brayden both hung out with friends so it was just us and the younger ones.  The holiday is indeed evolving as our kids grow up.  It was a good time though.  We ended the night at some friends for a little Halloween party.  It was a great time!

Pumpkin Patch

We were spoiled in Omaha with the best pumpkin patch ever.  Since then we haven't found anything that compares.  However we still managed to have a great time at this little pumpkin patch not to far away.  I took the kids with JAmy and her kids.  It was a warm sunny beautiful festive fall day!
