We met up with some ward friends at the Camps for a Halloween dinner and Trick or Treating.

Happy Birthday Emmitt

Emmitt is 7 now!  We celebrated at his favorite birthday spot- Chuck E Cheese.  He had a few school friends and Taeya and his cousins Sadie and Noah.  We had the train cake which is a tradition he insists on.  It was fun and crazy.  He outsmarted the ticket blaster by picking up the big ticket papers before they even turned the machine on- so he really scored in the prize department and left with quite a bit of loot.  I think it was a success!

We bought a boat!

Kevin has been recently boat shopping obsessed.  When he came across this perfect specimen down in Austin, he just had to have it.  Its going to be a lot of fun for our family...once the warm weather returns.. We took it out a couple times before we stored it for the winter.  We look forward to creating many wonderful boating memories...

October 27 was the super cold day we went to buy the boat.  It was so windy and cold but so exciting.

Oh and in order to pick up the boat we had to buy a truck too so now we have a truck!

This was our first boat outing.  Too cold to get in the water but a fun little cruise nonetheless.

 

Brielle enters double digits!

Brielle has turned 10!  For her birthday we had a party at the house with her best friends.  They did the limbo, went on a photo scavenger hunt and made their own pizza and we had a pinata.

Then on Sunday we celebrated with the Grigors and had the remainder of this yummy confetti cake.

Homecoming Parade

One of my favorite things about this town is the Homecoming Parade.  We see friends and enjoy being pelted by candy.  Its always a good time.

Conference Brunch

We love conference time and as usual we enjoyed our favorite conference brunch.  And of course conference bingo was involved too.
