Kindergarten Awards

Emmitt had a great year in Kindergarten with his teacher Ms Balak.  They had a nice little program with a slideshow and all the kids got awards.  

Honey's Birthday

I dont remember how Brielle determined that this was Honeys birthday but one way or another she determined it and so we celebrated!  Honey is Brielles most beloved of her many many stuffed animals so it was joy to celebrate her birthday.

Eagle Talon Awards

Brayden has enjoyed his broadcast class this year.  They just completed auditions for next years broadcasters and Brayden got a spot doing as a sports anchor next year.  He's very excited about it. Apparently every year the broadcast program does an award show called the Talon awards.  This year we attended to see Brayden announce one of the awards and be announced as one of the members of next years team.  It's fun to see him develop this talent.  He really enjoys the program.

Field Day

Near the end of the school year Folsom holds their "Field Day" where the kids get to participate in a lot of fun outdoor water activities.  This year Kevin went to watch the fun.

Fieldtrip

I accompanied Brielle's class on their fieldtrip this year to the Dallas Heritage Village.  It was fun to be with her and her friends and see how people lived in the "Old Days"

Brayden's 15th Birthday

Brayden had a great birthday this year.  It was momentous as 15 is the age here where you can get your Learners permit to drive.  Brayden has been very excited about this and done all the online prep work ahead of time to make this happen.

He started the day of by going to seminary as usual, but his super sweet cousins surprised him with a poster for him, a crown and they had even made his spot in the car into a nice thrown for him. They are so awesome!

Then we had birthday breakfast and opened up presents.  His favorite was the longboard. 

Then at lunchtime, Kevin checked him out of school and they went to the DMV where Brayden became passed his test.  Its official now, he is a driver!

And of course we had cake.  His favorite is always chocolate peanut butter cup!

Cinco de Mayo

Emmitt was one of the lucky ones to be chosen to be a part of their schools Cinco de Mayo parade.  He looked pretty cute in his sombrero.

Tennis Awards

Makenna really enjoyed being on the Tennis team this year.  It has been a lot of fun to watch and be a part of.  To end the season they had a little party and award ceremony.  Makenna never likes me to take pictures so they arent great but at least the moment was documented ;) and Makenna is awesome!

Fabulous Frosters

Brielle had a "Cupcake Wars" themed activity days evening with moms.  We named our team the Fabulous Frosters.  It was pretty sweet!

Money Making Machine

This spring Brayden and Ben, Daniel, and his friend Adam started up a mulching business.  They were quite successful but it was a lot of stress and hard work and a great learning experience.  Here's a picture of Brayden sorting out everyones pay at the end of their "season"
