The Countdown
If you are puzzling over the new ticker I have added to my blog, you should know that we are expecting baby number 3 in October. I'm not sure if the countdown is a good idea or not. 194 days sounds like a long long time- but then again pregnancy does last a long long time.
Happy Easter
What a busy and fun week it has been. We entertained Grandma and Grandpa, followed by Jeff, Jenn, Chloe and Jonah, and then Oma and Opa. Today with an empty house we hardly know what to do with ourselves. We love our visitors and welcome all back anytime.
The "Easter Bunny" delivered baskets from Grandma Matkin early this easter so that we could celebrate a bit with Chloe and Jonah. I thought I had a great scheme worked out where I would tell the kids the Easter bunny was delivering baskets from Grandma but later that day Brayden said to me, "mom that was you not the easter bunny who hid those baskets right- because the Easter bunny doesnt come until sunday and I saw you put the note in the mailbox"(I had put a letter in the mailbox for the kids from the easter bunny) I guess Brayden is just getting too smart for me.

At our final easter egg hunt on Maesar hill we met up with friends Natalie and Emma and Mark and Lizzie. It was the best hunt of all as they had plenty of eggs and not too many people and by this time our kids were quite expert in the ways of the easter egg hunt.

Kenna found a lucky egg at one of the three Easter egg hunts we attended and she won this cool BYU shirt! She calls it her baby cosomo shirt.
GUESS WHO??? If you can guess who's under that Easter basket- 100 points for you!
And of course to complete our Easter festivities we colored Easter eggs. We all prepared our special egg of choice for the egg roll where first time roller, Opa claimed first prize. Sorry I didnt take pictures of the egg rolling, but it was a good time.
