Mommy Daughter Weekend in Atlanta

Makenna and I went to Atlanta, Georgia over the weekend to see Chloe's baptism.  It was part of Makenna's 8 year old birthday gift.  It was also the first time any of us had been out to Atlanta to see  Jeff and Jenn since they moved there.  It was a very special trip and we had a great time.

 Here are the girls and  Jonah (and Grandma in the back) at the church before the baptism on Saturday morning.

The baptism was lovely.  The girls had a bundle of energy and did some wild twirling outside the church after the baptism (and there is Aunt Jenn in the background).

 In the afternoon we went downtown for a walk in the Centennial Olympic park and a trip to the aquarium.  Here are my iphone pictures from that.

 

We ended that day with some Georgia BBQ and a few rounds of "Five Crowns."  Good times.

The next morning before church we walked 2.2 miles around Little Mulberry lake.  It was gorgeous!

 Just by chance both girls had the same Costco dress so we had to take a picture before heading to church.

The weekend was wonderful.  I wish I had a group picture but we truly enjoyed visiting with Jeff, Jenn, Jonah and Chloe as well as grandma and grandpa.  Atlanta was beautiful and the weather was perfect.  We had a really great time.
