Kids Day at the Dr Pepper Ballpark

This year Dr Pepper had two "kids day" type events at the Roughriders Ballpark.  The first was on a Thursday and it was just for employees and their families.  The highlight there was getting caricatures done of the kids.  Then on Saturday was the true "kids day" where we brought the Grigors along with us and enjoyed the food, fun and games.

We have an Eagle Scout

Brayden has earned his eagle quite awhile ago and we were finally able to properly congratulate him at his Eagle Court of Honor.  He was awarded with a few other Young Men and it was a very nice ceremony.  Kevin and I are immensely proud of Brayden for all his hard work in scouting.

Half Marathon

This year Brayden, Daniel and Kevin ran the Frisco Half Marathon.  Out of all of them Kevin was definitely the most trained.  The other boys trained a bit but mostly they just winged it and so it was quite a struggle but they all did amazingly well and I think had a good overall experience.

Easter Egg Dying

This year we dyed our easter eggs at home and then later we went to the Grigors and dyed some more eggs with the intention of going to roll them down a hill when we were done.  Unfortunately mother nature had other plans and it poured rain all day.  So this year there was egg dying but sadly no egg rolling.

When in Texas...

Sometimes when you live in Texas, and your driving down the road, your dad randomly pulls over so you can get out and admire the Longhorns.
