BACK TO SCHOOL!!!

It is a huge year for our family's back to school this time.  My oldest child is going to HIGH SCHOOL and my baby is going to KINDERGARTEN.  Those are some big milestones for mom to take in.  Im filled with every emotion you can imagine.

Brayden off to 9th Grade:

He really didnt let me take a picture in front of his new school but I managed to snap one from the car as he was walking in (and looking around hoping no one notices his mom embarassing him).

  

And Makenna off to 7th grade.  Shes going to Reynolds Middle School this year.

And Brielle is off to 2nd Grade.  Still at Folsom Elementary:

 They all had great first days.  Everyone will do great I am sure.  Lucky kids to have such great schools to go to.  Hooray for Back to School!

15th Anniversary Trip

My sweet husband Kevin booked us a special getaway for our 15th anniversary.  It was a quick trip to Los Cabos Mexico, staying at the Hyatt Ziva all-inclusive resort.  It was absolutely dreamy! Beautiful and relaxing and amazing in every way.  It was a superb trip!  Happy Anniversary to us!  And luckily the Grigors were living with us at the time so we had built in childcare back at home.  Thanks Grigors!

Brayden goes to EFY

This summer was Braydens first EFY.  He was lucky enough to get to go all the way to BYU Provo and room with his best buddy Nolan.  He flew with his friend Adam and heres a pic of Adam and Nolan and Brayden.

Weekend at Broken Bow

In July we rented a friends cabin in Broken Bow Oklahoma with the Grigors and Petersons (J'Amy and Matt).  We spent a day boating and all the kids had an absolute blast!

 

 This (Below) is where we did our cliff jumping.  There were different ledges to jump from at different heights.  We all jumped from the highest ledge -even Emmitt - but he only wanted to do it once ;)  It was kind of scary but luckily we were all safe and even had a bit of fun!

Visiting Oma and Opa

This summer we were lucky enough to be able to make the trip out to Pennsylvania to spend sometime with Oma and Opa.  We all had a great time.  The kids loved getting rides on Opas motorcycle and catching fireflies was pretty exciting too.  We made a trip to Chocolate World and got some fun souvenirs there.  Then we spent a full day living it up at Hershey Park.  It was great!  We also had a pretty fabulous day (especially for the girls) where we were able to visit Omas horses and do some horseback riding.  The girls had been wanting to do that for a long time and they loved it!  We also had fun playing games, playing with the dogs, and visiting this most delicious ice cream place called Oregon Dairy (that's here the cow pictures near the bottom are from).  It had a great playground so we spent a lot of time there.  And of course we were lucky enough to be there over the 4th of July so we celebrated our favorite daddys birthday!  It was a great trip.

    

 

 

 

A little summer fun

We enjoyed using up our taco bell coupons for free slushies.  We made quite a few visits this summer.

Today in the car Emmitt was refusing to buckle up.  Brielle told him he would die if he didnt to which he replied:
"No I'll be alive in heaven,  I'll be alive here or in heaven.  It doesnt matter to me.  Im fine with it."
