Keith Urban Concert

This was a girls night out.  Brielle got the tickets for her birthday.  She has just recently become a Keith Urban fan and the opening act was Kelsea Ballerini who she is also a fan of.  Makenna's not a big fan of country but she came along for the ride.  Unfortunately Makenna was sick that night and we were surrounded by some crazy drunk people but despite all that it was a super fun night!

Emmitt wanted to plan a group costume too, so he consulted with his friend Taeya who told them they should be hot dogs.  Then she almost backed out of being a hot dog at the last minute but luckily she came around to it and it all worked out.

Brielle and a big group of friends all decided to be M&M's.  There were a couple more that weren't around for this picture.  They sure were cute!

Happy Birthday Emmitt!

His birthday breakfast wish was his two favorite things- bacon and donuts!  Oh and juice too.

We had the Grigors and Petersons over for birthday cake.  It was his traditional train cake.  And draped over his shoulders is the Harry Potter quilt I made him for his birthday.

Makenna loved the football games this year- especially this one where she came home covered in green baby powder.  She said it was awesome!

Birthday Fun at Amazing Jakes

This year both Emmitt and Brielle chose to take one friend to Amazing Jakes for their birthday party.  Conveniently they chose the Corbridges and it was a great time for them.

Brielle is 11!  I think the favorite part of her birthday this year was getting a package from the BYU soccer team with a cool sweatshirt, tee shirt and signed poster.  She also got some Brooklyn and Bailey scrunchies and Harry Potter stuff and Keith Urban concert tickets.  She thought it was a pretty awesome birthday!

She requested chocolate frosting with a smoosh of pink frosting on top.  Despite her face in this picture, she was happy with them.

And for fun she has always been wanting to go order a cupcake from this vending machine.  So we did it and it was fun!
