Father Son Campout

Emmitt always LOVES to go to the father son campout. I think its his favorite thing ever.  I only got a couple pics Kevin took- but they show such a cute brotherly bond.

Talent Show

This year Brielle and her friend Addie auditioned for the Talent show and made it.  They worked hard on a piano duet and even memorized the song.  They performed fabulously!

Brayden is 16!

Brayden reached the historic milestone of turning 16!  And on the same day, passed his drivers test and got his license!  Go Brayden.  There is nothing this kid cant do.

Grand Cayman Trip

We were lucky enough to get to go again on Dr Peppers bottler rewards trip (our 3rd time).  This year it was to the Grand Cayman and it was beautiful!  We stayed at the Kimpton Seafire Resort and everything was very luxurious.  It was a great time.

I tried paddleboard Yoga.  It was pretty fun!

This is the Sunkist crew that we spend our time with.  Dave and Denise and Mark and Karen.

One of the days we went to Stingray city and we loved getting up close with the Sting rays.

Its always lovely to have some time with my hubby in a beautiful tropical location!  Its definitely been a work perk!

Easter Egg Rolling-  It happened April 1.  Was fun as ever!

One day when Brayden and his buds were mulching on our street, Emmitt was so kind to take them down a snack.

Brielle and I made this lego cake for Noahs birthday.

Brayden was inducted into the National Honor Society.

We had a ward talent show.  Brielle did a dance with some of her friends and Brayden and his friends put on giant bobble heads of the bishopric and did a pretty epic dance too.

Spring Break

This  year we did something very different for Spring Break and we went to where it was colder!  We decided (somewhat last minute) that we wanted to do a ski trip so we went to New Mexico and skiied at a place called Sipapu.  On our way there we stopped at Palo Duro Canyon where we did some sight seeing and a trail ride.  That was a lot of fun.  And then we were off to the mountains of New Mexico.  Spring weather was setting in but we were still able to find a place to do some fun tubing and then went skiing the next couple of days.  Skiing was new to all of the kids so everyone did some lessons and then just picked it up no problem.  I think everyone loved it.  It was a bit of a car drive to get there but as it turned out some of the kids thought that was the highlight since we listened to the Harry Potter audiobook.  Brielle just kept asking if we could get back in the car to drive ;)  All in all it was a great trip and fun new type of adventure for us.

Feildtrip

I had the exciting pleasure of being a chaperone on Emmitts recent trip to the Perot Museum.  My group was just Emmitt and his friends Max and Gage.  We also hung out with his friend Taeya.  They were a busy bunch.  We had a good time.
