Easter Egg Dying

This year we dyed our easter eggs at home and then later we went to the Grigors and dyed some more eggs with the intention of going to roll them down a hill when we were done.  Unfortunately mother nature had other plans and it poured rain all day.  So this year there was egg dying but sadly no egg rolling.

When in Texas...

Sometimes when you live in Texas, and your driving down the road, your dad randomly pulls over so you can get out and admire the Longhorns.

Tennis

Makenna played tennis this year for her school team and also took the tennis class.  She really enjoyed it and has learned a lot and is just such a cute little tennis player.

General Conference

We love General Conference weekend.  The kids particularly like playing Conference Bingo.  We've enjoyed having the Grigors close by so we can watch it with family.

For the Saturday afternoon session, we piped it through our outdoor speakers and let the kids swim.  This picture of Emmitt on by the edge was taken during a prayer and it makes me laugh ;)

March Madness Winner

Every year our extended Matkin family fills out brackets for the NCAA college basketball tournament.  This year... the winner was... Emmitt!  He was very excited about the trophy!
